Architecture & Access work with design teams to assist in obtaining the Buildings: Design for Inclusion, Credit 34, points. Three points can be achieved in this category: 2 Credit Achievement points and 1 Exceptional Performance point.
The Credit Achievement points involve the documentation of the design features that will support the inclusion of a diverse range of users. Architecture & Access will prepare an Access Advice highlighting the inclusive design features of your project, evidenced by way of photos, extracts of drawings and schedules.
The Exception Performance point can be achieved by providing evidence of stakeholder consultation, which has involved the voices of a diverse range of users, including people with a disability, as relevant to the project. Architecture & Access can assist you in developing this consultation strategy, documenting the outcomes and completing the Needs Analysis required to achieve this point.
Architecture & Access can assist you further with achieving your project’s Green Star objectives.
