With over 15 years of international experience, Tina brings a global perspective to accessibility and universal design. Her career spans Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, where she has advised on projects ranging from masterplans and public buildings to education, healthcare facilities, and inclusive events.

Tina’s technical knowledge includes universal design guidelines, accessibility audits, and certification systems. She is highly skilled in applying international standards and Australian regulations such as AS1428, the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), and the National Construction Code (NCC). Her design-led approach ensures accessibility is seamlessly integrated into every stage of the process.

Projects of Interest
Since joining Architecture & Access, Tina has contributed to a range of meaningful projects, including the Albert Park Pit Building and Nelson Hospital. These experiences have deepened her understanding of cultural perspectives—particularly First Nations design considerations—and how they can be respectfully integrated into high-profile developments.
Tina has also benefited from the collaborative support of her colleagues, especially their insights into the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines. In another project, she quickly familiarised herself with NZS 4121, gaining valuable knowledge about Performance Solutions and their role in incorporating advanced technologies that go beyond the requirements of the National Construction Code.
Outside of work, Tina has embraced life in Victoria, enjoying team activities such as hiking and exploring the region’s seasonal beauty.

Her journeys have led to inspiring encounters, including a conversation in New York with the visionary behind the International Day of Autism and the Commissioner of the mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities.
Her time working in the Middle East introduced her to remarkable individuals such as the world’s fastest blind driver, a celebrated Turkish pop singer, and the world record holder for travelling 140km in a solar-powered wheelchair.
