Daniel’s career began in landscape architecture and land rehabilitation, before a pivotal conversation with a Paralympian introduced him to the world of access consulting — a field where he has since built substantial expertise across multiple sectors.

Daniel is an accredited access consultant with extensive experience analysing legislation, technical standards and regulatory requirements. He offers detailed access advice across education, health, commercial, accommodation and tourism projects, consistently applying a pragmatic approach to help teams achieve compliance without compromising design intent.
His project portfolio includes:
- Regional Airports Accessibility Audit
- Queensland Transport Manufacturing Program (QTMP) for the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
- Accessibility & inclusion strategies – including Victoria Park / Barrambin and Northshore Roadworks.
- Education and health projects – such as La Trobe University, Glen Eira College, Rockhampton Mental Health Unit, and the Nambour Hospital Accessibility Review.
- Government and community facilities, including the Dalby Cultural Precinct, Mill Park Basketball Stadium, and Queensland Rail Station accessibility upgrades at Burpengary and Bundamba.

He also contributes to the strategic direction of the business through his role in the Leadership Team and as Brisbane Team Lead, supporting team development and local project capability. Daniel plays an active role in strengthening emerging service lines, including Universal Design and Green Star consulting, helping shape best practice delivery across the organisation.
