An amazing group of women doing what they do best – getting together and singing.
Allison Crunden, our General Manager, leads a complex and busy portfolio – but she’s equally committed to creating balance, joy and community in her life outside work.
One of Allison’s favourite after-hours adventures is performing with Pitchface, a vibrant community choir known for its double-denim uniform, bold harmonies, and love of late-80s ballads and 90s dance anthems. Made up of women and non-binary singers from Melbourne’s inner west, Pitchface is as much about connection and fun as it is about music.
Pitchface’s rising reputation has opened doors to some unforgettable opportunities, including performances with RocKwiz, Coldplay’s four Melbourne shows in 2024, and most recently the Australian Open 2026, where they delivered the National Anthem at the Women’s Final – a truly remarkable moment.
“Standing with my community choir to sing the national anthem at the Australian Open was incredibly special. It felt even more meaningful knowing our organisation helped make the event accessible for everyone. Contributing to both communities – through music and through our work, is something I truly value.”
Architecture & Access is proud to celebrate Allison’s creative side and the energy she brings both to our organisation and the communities she’s part of.
We hope she keeps singing loud – and often.
