Shaping accessible environments through technical expertise and a commitment to inclusion.
Since joining Architecture & Access in September 2019, Stephanie has become an integral member of our consulting team, known for her strong technical capability, clear communication, and genuine commitment to improving accessibility for all. Her dedication and growing expertise were recognised in 2023, when she was promoted to Senior Access Consultant and became an Accredited Access Consultant.
A foundation built on design and public health
Stephanie brings a unique combination of building design qualifications and a background in public health—an ideal blend for access consulting. This dual perspective strengthens her ability to look beyond compliance alone, considering how design decisions affect real people and the way they move through spaces.
Her earlier experience in both building design and community health shaped the values she brings to her work today: thoughtful problem‑solving, empathy, and a drive to create environments that support independence and participation.
Delivering practical, people‑centred access solutions
Stephanie possesses strong technical skills and a solid understanding of accessibility regulations, standards and design principles. She is committed to developing recommendations that remove barriers for people with disabilities and ensuring her advice is clear, accurate and user‑focused.
She works closely with clients across education, sport and recreation, health, transport, local government and residential sectors—helping project teams translate complex requirements into practical, achievable design outcomes. Whether reviewing plans, conducting onsite assessments, or advising on inclusive design strategies, Stephanie’s approach is grounded in collaboration and clarity.
A commitment to creating more inclusive places
At the heart of Stephanie’s work is her passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. She strives to make every project more inclusive than the last, ensuring accessibility is considered early, integrated seamlessly, and communicated effectively to clients and design teams.
Her contributions continue to strengthen Architecture & Access’s mission to create environments that work for everyone.
