An Indian Wedding – A Joyful and Ritual-Filled Celebration for Vibhika and Vedant.
Architecture & Access congratulates Vibhika and Vedant on their recent marriage. Vibhika, an Access Consultant at Architecture & Access, married her fiancé Vedant in January in their homeland city of Pune, India.
As a close-knit team, Vibhika invited us all to her wedding. Five Architecture & Access team members accepted this amazing invitation and joined hundreds of other wedding guests for this 3 day celebration. The wedding was a vibrant event filled with many ceremonies, including rituals and practices passed down through generations.
Vibhika wore a stunning sari, and the wedding guests donned similar attire. For most of us, it was our first time wearing a sari and we were very thankful for our personal dressers that helped us to fit our saris the morning before the wedding. The fabrics and colours were beautifully vibrant, using prismatic shades of red, orange and pink. The food was a delicious array of traditional Indian dishes (with plenty of less spicy options), adding to the festive atmosphere.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience for everyone who attended, and we are all grateful to Vibhika and Vedant and their families for including us in their special day. Congratulations once again to the happy couple!
