Season’s Greetings from Architecture & Access!

As 2025 draws to a close, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on a year filled with growth, collaboration, and achievement.

We kicked off the year with a successful staff CPD day featuring inspiring guest speakers and valuable time for reflection and learning.

In Brisbane, preparations for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games are well underway, and we’re proud that our Brisbane Manager, Patricia Flores, was appointed to the Transport, Logistics and Mobility Sub-Committee for the Committee for Brisbane.

Our commitment to accessibility remained strong, with ongoing support for major events such as the Spring Racing Carnival and the Australian Open. We also maintained our ISO9001 and ISO45001 accreditations, reinforcing our dedication to quality and safety.

Leadership development continued to be a priority, with programs supporting both emerging and established leaders. The Access Consultants Australia Conference (ACA) in Melbourne was another highlight, with nearly all staff attending and several presenting.

This year also marked a significant farewell as Helen Fearn-Wannan retired after making an extraordinary contribution to architecture and access. We thank Helen for her dedication and impact.

Finally, we were proud to contribute to the development of the Reset Room Guide, developed to assist in the creation of best practice reset rooms, also known as Sensory Rooms and Chill-Out zones.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and team for making 2025 a year to remember.

Wishing you a joyful festive season and a successful year ahead!
